The website to my hometown of Greenwich, CT is definitely as example of “top-down” set up. I actually have known about the website for a while. It is pretty easy to navigate and to find what your looking for. I never really used it for more than gaining access for the forms needed to get a beach pass though. The various tabs are self-explanatory and you can get almost any type of form you need for permits, or applications or passes. There are links that show the agendas of recent town meetings and applications for permits made by business. I couldn’t find any message bored or open forums for community members to participate in. In my overall opinion, this is a boring website, it does what it needs to do and that’s pretty much it.
