For the week of November 4-November 10, the SWAG PIC of the week was Hanley Ramirez’s “I SEE YOU” pose. Ramirez joined the Los Angeles Dodgers this past July after the ball club made shocking changes adding sluggers to the club such as Adrian Gonzalez, Matt Kemp, Jerry Hairston, Nick Punto, and many others. Hanley Ramirez, ironically, has been compared to Manny Ramirez, former Dodger’s Outfielder as well, for his sarcasm and bad attitudes off the field. Hanley’s phrase created along with Dee Gordon, made it’s way to t-shirts becoming a popular apparel wear for Dodgers fans, and has become the phrase of L.A. The phrase refers to a great play made by Ramirez, or a great play made by a teammate. Home runs, backhands, diving plays, double plays, all fit in with the phrase. Ramirez has been nicknamed “Mr. Hollywood” because of the excitement he has bought to Los Angeles, and is often looked at as a building block for team spirit.
