Yes and no because most of the population watches and reads pointless gossip on the Internet, which filters useless information into our brain. The other half spend their time watching videos and reading articles that better our education and lead to a more overall understanding of the world around us. In todays society is so easy to fill our brains with empty material because we are too obsessed with celebrities and materialistic value. This generation on the other hand is exceptional at sharing things on the Internet that matter. We “tweet,” “share,” and “like” subjects of value, with the hope of these messages going viral. We are the first generation to create campaigns from within in the Internet, getting people to make serious changes in their communities, cities, and states.
